All ACPE-accredited providers have 60 days after the CPE activity participation date to upload the participant credit into CPE Monitor. The provider must upload the participant information 60 days from the date the participant completed the CPE activity. This applies to all CPE activities: live, internet-based, and home-study articles.

Participant credit will only be awarded upon successful completion of all online session evaluations:

• For Live Conferences: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within two weeks after the date of the live activity. • For Live HWPA Regional Education Meetings: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within two weeks after the date of the live activity. • For Live HWPA PatientCare Webinars: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within one week after the date of the live activity. • For Self-paced HWPA PatientCare Webinars: The participant must submit the post-activity online session evaluation prior to the expiration date of the activity. • For Self-paced HWPA Essential THC EDU for Pharmacy Professionals Certificate Program: The participant must submit the post-activity online session evaluation prior to the expiration date of the activity. Paper statements of credit will no longer be issued. All credit awarded by ACPE-accredited providers to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must be via CPE Monitor. All continuing pharmacy education credits awarded by HWPA will be uploaded within 30 days of the completion of the activity. Please monitor your NABP e-Profile account for accuracy. CPE Monitor

CPE Monitor is a national, collaborative effort by NABP and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to track their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. It will also offer state boards of pharmacy the opportunity to electronically authenticate the CPE units completed by their licensees, rather than requiring pharmacists and technicians to submit their proof of completion statements upon request or for random audits. This initiative will streamline processes for pharmacy practitioners to ensure they are maintaining professional competency requirements. CPE Monitor is expected to save pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, state boards of pharmacy, and CPE providers time and money.

How it works

Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will receive a unique ID number after setting up their e-Profile with NABP. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are now required to provide their NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth to the provider when they register for CPE or submit a request for credit. The system will then direct electronic data from ACPE-accredited providers to ACPE and then to NABP, ensuring that CPE credit is officially verified by the providers. Once information is received by NABP, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to log in to access information about their completed CPE activities.

International Pharmacy Preceptors and Canadian Pharmacists

Benefitting Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians

CPE Monitor will provide a secure, central system that maintains and tracks all continuing education credit from ACPE-accredited providers and allows you to monitor your progress and maintain records. Your NABP e-Profile will serve as the home for your ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education credit, allowing you to easily monitor and maintain your license/registration. Note: The 60-day deadline is to allow sufficient time to correct incomplete or incorrect information and is not a grace period.
